Market Woes

All the turmoil in the market over the last few weeks has many of us worried.  Will I have enough to retire on?  Should I get out of the market now or ride this "crisis" out?  These are all questions that have to be answered individually.  But there are sources of information that one should consider before making any knee-jerk decisions.  The Wall Street Journal is just one quality source for financial information that can help you make sense of what is going on in the financial markets today.  Spending time reading articles by expert financial analysts can help you determine whether or not the course you have charted is wise.  You may find the following video excerpt from the Wall Street Journal's "Market Watch" program a good place to start.  The Journal's Chuck Jaffe reports that most financial advisors continue to encourage investors to "stay the course," "don't panic," and cut down on your own consumer spending.  Nevertheless, I firmly believe that nobody cares about your financial situation more than you.  And the more you can learn about and understand your finances, the better off you will be in the long run.
